Presentation

Maikol de Sousa, also known as Borneo Modofoker, is a multidisciplinary artist from Caracas (Venezuela) who currently resides in Porto (Portugal).

He began his career in the world of advertising where his creativity was unanimous, first at Publicis for several years, then as artistic director at Ogilvy Mather.

In 2010, he moved to Buenos Aires. This city marks a turning point in his career, in particular thanks to his participation in various creative and cultural projects, at national and international level. He stayed there for 8 years, before moving to Barcelona. During these years, he devoted himself in parallel to street art. His style asserts itself and quickly becomes as recognizable as it is recognized. When he arrived in Porto, his growing interest in ceramics was felt ...

In his latest series, the combination of his palette and his compositions as we usually know them in his works has this time been applied to this medium - ceramic - for a result as unique as it is timeless.

Borneo's talent has enabled him to support many brands in their creative strategies. He has collaborated with Puma, Converse, Coca-Cola, Movistar, Vans ... etc.

His bike: "No competencia, solo estilo" ("No competition, only style")
