Artsper caught up with Instagram's most glamorous couple, Alice and Jean-Sébastien (JS), better known by the nickname @jaimetoutcheztoi on Instagram. This art director duo, partners in both their personal and professional life, spoke candidly to Artsper about their journey, their professional advice, and their passion for fashion. 1. Hello Alice and Jean-Sébastien! Thanks for speaking with us today. Could you introduce yourselves and tell us about your journey in the fashion world so far?

We are Alice & JS, a creative couple with a passion for fashion, art and design. A shared passion that inspired us to start our blog (@jaimetoutcheztoi) in 2013, through which we began sharing coordinated looks. As the months went by, this hobby became more of a part of our lives and a few years later, we decided to stop our respective professions in order to fully focus on our passion for fashion by launching our company. We produce content in which we collaborate with brands and promote them on our networks. So there's this content creator aspect to our job, but also the artistic director side because we are involved, in a more private way, in the design and production of white label digital campaigns. It's a path we are proud of and which, through perseverance and hard work, allows us to live out our passion.

2. What is your relationship with art? How do you express your artistic side through your work?

Art and fashion are closely linked, so it's not surprising that we are particularly attuned to both worlds. In fact, JS decided to study art when he was younger. He was in high school for Applied Arts and then went on to study drawing and graphic design. He has kept this love of art and uses it for our creative projects, photo shoots and various campaigns.

In addition, we sometimes create content in workshops, galleries or museums. We recently produced a video in collaboration with the Louvre Museum after lockdown, to encourage our community to return to museums and begin pursuing cultural activities again.

3. Are you inspired by contemporary art in your fashion choices?

We are inspired by what we love and contemporary art is part of that.

Generally speaking, we are always very enthusiastic about the collections developed between contemporary artists and luxury brands, such as the Yayoi Kusama x Louis Vuitton, Daniel Arsham x Dior, Murakami x Louis Vuitton and many others. In fact, JS is a fan of the Prada x Christophe Chemin shirts, a collaboration dating back to 2016, which he collects!

4. What advice would you give to young fashion enthusiasts who want to break into the business?

To evolve in this restricted and demanding environment, you need to show great perseverance and patience. Before being taken seriously, you have to prove yourself and for that you need time. I also believe that being both authentic and passionate is absolutely necessary, and creating original visual content to stand out as much as possible.

5. Can you tell us about a future project you are working on - or would like to work on?

On a day-to-day basis, I think it's the creative aspect that stimulates us the most and that is why we are so committed to developing the art direction part. This allows us to work on projects in a more “behind the scenes" way, where we are not in front of the camera and are able to express all our creativity at the service of brands. On a more personal note, JS loves drawing and painting, and would love to dedicate more time to these hobbies. So why not consider producing some paintings!

6. If you could have dinner with an art or fashion figure (dead or alive), who would you choose and why?

We would love to have dinner with Dalí and hear his thoughts about the use of artificial intelligence in the creative field.
