Galerie L'Estampe, located in the center of Strasbourg, France since 1979, mainly promotes artists of the New Figuration movement. It is a publisher of limited editions, and has the only aquagravure workshop in France. The Gallery has been promoting artists practicing engraving and printmaking in all its forms for over 45 years.
Aquagravure is a very special printmaking technique that has seduced many artists. They have appreciated the relief, the possibility of creating white or colored prints and all the possibilities that come with it.
So, from Corneille to Bogart, from the artists of narrative figuration, led by Erró, to the founders of free figuration, Combas and Di Rosa, the l'Estampe publishing house pays tribute, with rigor and loyalty, to the great initiators of contemporary art.
Curious about new creative approaches, and eager to present today's artists, l'Estampe continues its reflective approach and publishes French Urban Art artists such as Speedy Graphito.
