Brigitte Millet was born in 1957 in Montville, in Seine-Maritime.
An artist with a self-taught career, she ended up training at the École des Arts du Feu in Vallauris between 1993 and 1995, in the “Pottery and Ceramic Decor” section. In 1995, she founded with her companion
their own ceramic workshop and bronze foundry.
“Having lived in Vallauris more than twenty years ago, I discovered“ ceramics ”through contact with artists who had worked with Cocteau, Chagall, Picasso.
I can say that I am like Obelix, fallen not into the magic potion, but fallen into the magic of creation. The same goes for my paintings, the base of which is cardboard, seeing the transformation of this material fascinates and fascinates me. With my companion, we created a ceramic workshop plus a bronze foundry and left the Côte d'Azur for the Périgord. "
