Fotografía Escena De Vida
Fue en la década de 1830 cuando Nièpce descubrió el procedimiento para fijar imágenes en placas de estaño. En 1833, tras su muerte, Louis Daguerre y luego François Arago prolongaron sus investigaciones y acabaron inventando el daguerrotipo, que imprime una imagen en una placa de plata expuesta a la luz. Inventaron la fotografía.
Así se crearon las primeras fotografías. Al inicio, la fotografía de retrato -o incluso la foto de familia más simple- requería una gran ceremonia y hasta horas de preparación en el estudio. Posteriormente, gracias a las proezas tecnológicas de las cámaras compactas como la Leica y más tarde la réflex digital, los tiempos de exposición se redujeron considerablemente y la cantidad de fotografías aumentó. Hoy en día existen muchas técnicas y procesos para obtener el resultado deseado.
Es en este contexto que se desarrolló la fotografía de escenas de la vida cotidiana o de la vida doméstica después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial en las clases acomodadas y urbanas. Vida familiar, vida de pareja, vida comunitaria, a los artistas les interesan los momentos cotidianos (el matrimonio, los besos, los juegos de los niños...). Tanto los momentos más sencillos como las etapas más importantes de la vida quedan inmortalizados con cámara analógica, lo que da lugar a fotos hermosas y humanistas.
En este género muy particular de la fotografía de escenas de vida han dejado su huella grandes fotógrafos como Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau, David Goldblatt o Vivian Maier, por citar sólo algunos.
Vivian Maier es una fotógrafa estadounidense nacida en 1926 en Nueva York. Niñera profesional en Chicago, dedicaba su tiempo libre a fotografiar el mundo que la rodeaba: un total de casi 150.000 imágenes. Tras haber pasado su vida en el anonimato, su genio fue finalmente reconocido en 2007 por todo su trabajo fotografiando escenas de la vida.
Fundador asociado de la agencia Magnum en 1947 con David Seymour y Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson fue un auténtico precursor del fotoperiodismo, pero también un brillante fotógrafo artístico. Revolucionó la fotografía trabajando con equipos muy ligeros. No utilizaba ni trípodes ni cámaras de fuelle y trabajaba según el principio de lo instantáneo. Para él, "la cámara es ante todo un cuaderno de bocetos". La técnica fotográfica de Henri Cartier-Bresson es única e inconfundible. Nunca utiliza flash en sus composiciones, sólo emplea la luz natural característica de la fotografía de escenas de la vida. Además, los sujetos de una misma fotografía coexisten, pero los personajes no suelen estar centrados en las fotografías en blanco y negro de Cartier-Bresson. Su enfoque, encuadre y profundidad de campo son detalles que permiten captar la belleza de las cosas cotidianas más sencillas que él sublima.
