From October 11 to 13, 2019, the Ile des Impressionnistes de Chatou will welcome many artists for this new autumn edition of the Grand Marché d'Art Contemporain! A mythical place in the history of art, the Ile de Chatou is not only a site conducive to artistic inspiration, it is also a commercial place whose reputation is well established. This fair on a human scale welcomes more than a hundred painters, sculptors and photographers and represents an unmissable event for art lovers, buyers and an increasingly numerous and high-quality public who like to come and meet with artists. Perpetuating the artistic tradition in this haven of peace, an exceptionally well-preserved place, the wide esplanade which offers a choice setting between the two banks of the Seine will be animated, as every year, by numerous monumental sculptures. The sculptors will offer the public many contemporary creations with varied volumes and materials: sculptures in steel, wood, bronze, earth, glass, resin ... some of which will be placed on the square at the entrance to the event to accompany visitors in their nice walk.
