Pauline Faieff is neither a model nor a photographer. She is an artist, artistic director, scenographer, poet, writer and even muse. Photography does not exist without it. Thanks to photography, she manages to express herself absolutely and totally. Her work is an ode to freedom and self-love.

Pauline discovered nude photography four years ago, during a photo shoot on the beach. She had never posed nude before and she says the experience changed her life. That day, she began to consider that “she was not so bad" and that she could begin to accept herself without her social mask. The turning point had been taken. Today, Pauline poses everywhere, in the studio, indoors, in the city, on the beach, the world is her testing ground for self-love and the celebration of beauty. It celebrates singularity and imperfections dictated by societal norms and stereotypes. For her, her practice is a tool for change and openness, and for us, it offers us an uninhibited female gaze.

The discovery of the NFT was the technological tool she was waiting for to certify her works and thus prove her identity, then largely usurped by fraudulent and malicious sites. In addition, she very quickly met a community on web3, attentive to her art. She says it herself, the NFT allows her to retain the rights to her image and to be free in what she wants to do with her art. For her, it is a tool that allows her to cross borders and oppose censorship.

This thought goes hand in hand with her desire and her legitimate right to be considered as an artist despite the visible place she takes as a model. Pauline proposes a redefinition of the place given to living subjects in the field of photography. She is not “just" that and maintains that the model has her part in creation. Art is not made simply by the photographer. She claims her status as muse, artistic director, model and creator of the image in its own right In this unique work presented within the ART GIRLS TRUCK, the artist frees herself from the gaze of an external photographer, and alone presses the trigger of the camera to offer the viewer a tender self-portrait.

Can I negotiate the price of an artwork?

For some artworks, you can negotiate the price. If the price of the work is negotiable, you have a “Make an offer” button under the “Buy this work” one.

To submit your offer, you must make a payment of the desired amount. Your offer will then be forwarded to the gallery, which reserves the right to accept or reject it. If your offer is accepted, it means that your order is confirmed by the gallery and they will prepare the artwork for shipment. If your offer is rejected, you will be refunded the total amount paid automatically. The gallery can also propose a counter-offer for the acquisition of the artwork.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us: [email protected].
