Peter Hoffer was born in 1965 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.

The surfaces are marked, scratched and cracked as the landscape itself, they are dynamic and create a balance that can be connected to the equilibrium of the seasons. The result evokes abandonment and incompleteness.



The resin used for the finishing of the surface captures the effects of paint and adds a noble quality to the works. His landscapes draw our attention to places considered not that spectacular. This encourages the spectator to seek a meaning in these places and offers him more possibilities of escape.
