The movement of life reveals itself
Biography
Born in Normandy, in Pont-Audemer, I began my artistic training in Argentina and worked for several years at the studio of painter Jorge Demejian, a professor at the Fine Arts School in Buenos Aires. This formative experience introduced me to oil painting, color theory, and the freedom of drawing.
Graduating from the St. Roch School in Paris, a high-fashion institution, fashion took me around the world—Milan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, New York—working with renowned designers.
In 1997, I settled in Quebec for 12 years and obtained Canadian citizenship.
Traveling with sketchbook and camera in hand, I developed a passion for mosaic and watercolor.
In 2014, I moved to Honfleur and discovered acrylic painting at the School of Graphic Arts.
From 2016 to 2019, I exhibited my works in a gallery in Honfleur during the summer months and participated in exhibitions at the Grenier à Sel, a mythical place in Honfleur.
Since 2020, I have participated in the Salon d'Automne in Paris.
My works are now showcased in galleries in Paris, Biarritz, and Avranches.
As a member of the Salon d'Automne in Paris, I belong to several associations:
Friends of the Salon d'Automne in Paris, Artists in Normandy, and the Academy of Arts of Lisieux.
On canvas, my work is gestural, airy, nestled in the light of shadows, the color of transparency. I create around ten paintings a year, each exploring a specific theme: Urban Landscapes, Scenes of Life, Attitudes, Women, Parisian Life, Dance... My characters, blurred and often merely suggested, inhabit my canvases. It's the movement of life that emerges!
