"Federico Alibrio attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania, specializing in Sculpture participating in high cultural profile exhibitions and symposiums, demonstrating commitment and seriousness in dealing with sculptural practice, taking advantage of the tradition in this field specific, he has delivered to this new generation increasingly oriented towards a experimentation that has broadened its scope of application. The use of materials belonging to the land of Sicily, as well as skillfully juggling stone, clay and plaster, characterizes his works, thus declaring his roots and the pride of belonging toan area rich in history and culture. His artistic research investigates social problemsinterpreted with symbolic language. Although moving on a figurative syntax, in theHis works clearly demonstrate a formal synthesis, as a result of knowledge and control of the matter. In Federico Alibrio's young training path, rigor and attention todiscipline allow him to record continuous advances that will lead himgradually towards an autonomous direction."

In 2015 he participated in the Art Factory Academy- Students event at Le Ciminiere in Catania. In the month

of April 2016 was selected and participated in the IV International Symposium of Sculpture on lava stone held in

Belpasso. From 26 May to 10 July 2016 he participated in the exhibition, Forecasts II Emerging Artists from the Academies of

Fine Arts of Catania and Palermo, promoted and organized by the Puglisi Cosentino Foundation and curated by Daniela Bigi and

Ornella Fazzina. In September 2016 he participated in the creation of the commemorative monument

“Memory" located in Piedimonte Etneo. In May and June 2017 he collaborated with the artist Emilio Isgrò.

He was selected to carry out the internship / International Forum of young marble sculptors in Carrara. “The voices of art:

peace, brotherhood and solidarity". Competition organized by the UNESCO Club of Carraca; on this occasion he enriched the

cultural baggage during the month of work within the sculpture laboratories of the Carrara academy.

He created the monument “Dalle mie Ceneri" for the FCE underground station in Catania. January 2018;

location close to the end of the metro works. He collaborated in the creation of the sculpture

monumental for the 350th anniversary of the eruption of Etna in Belpasso in June 2019.

In collaboration with the Corsino pastry shop, it created and donated a monument dedicated to water presented by

art critic Francesco Gallo Mazzeo in Palazzolo Acreide on 5/1/2020.

In August September 2020 he participates in a contemporary art collective curated by Laura Pieri and Paolo Lolicata

in Milazzo (ME) with the HUMAN TOUCH – Isolation project.

In 2021 he graduated in sculpture with a grade of 110 cum laude from the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania.
