Biography
Painter, Madagascar
Arivetso is the artist name of the young painter Chloé Loraine. Her first collection, lovingly dedicated to Malagasy women, bore the same name: ARIVETSO, and it is this collection that inspired her to name herself thus. In love with art, Chloé wants to carry culture high and far through the colors she prioritizes in her paintings: a burst of Madagascar.
Madagascar is an island that will amaze you with its landscapes combining white sand beaches, lush vegetation, rice fields and baobabs. Separated from Africa by the Mozambique Channel, the island of Madagascar is a fascinating mix between Asia and Africa. The North and the surrounding islets form a particularly exotic tropical paradise. To the West, the savannahs, punctuated by the silhouettes of baobabs, and crossed by many rivers recall nearby Africa. To the East of Madagascar, lush vegetation, set with beaches and turquoise lagoons of rare beauty, awaits the visitor. In the South, which is crossed by the Tropic of Capricorn, it is the sun that reigns supreme all year round. The center, a land of history par excellence, fascinates for its ancient palaces, but also for its astonishing relief marked here and there by erosion. It is therefore through these paintings that ARIVETSO, a Malagasy painter, will take you on a journey through this largest island in the Indian Ocean, a little paradise.
