“Mesquita”, whose real name is Thierry Mesquita, is of Portuguese origin. From an early age Mesquita has always admired painters. He discovered abstract art late when he met Agnès Berniolles, who then initiated it. Being a musician, he quickly realized that musical art and pictorial art were then closely linked. During the design of his various works; He finds his pictorial identity by discovering the renderings of the different tools he has at his disposal; moreover, his four years of industrial design should not be neglected. He testifies “Agnès Berniolles was behind me to teach me the balance of the masses with the colors”. In a creative process, he finds a certain similarity between music and painting, whites are to his paintings what silences are to music. By working by serendipity, which represents the fact of looking for something and sometimes discovering another, Mesquita lets his mind speak by stepping back regularly from the work on which he is working. By changing his path according to his desires, he lets himself be carried by the colors and the music while staying on the lookout "by trying to tame the chance".
