Hacen Drici was born on December 14, 1982 in Bouira (Algeria ). Graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Algiers in 2009, he obtained, the same year, the first Grand Prix of the city of Algiers, as well as the prize of the President of the Republic for young creators. In 2010, he obtained the Silver medal of the International Prize of Ankara (Turkey).
He participated in several group exhibitions, including an exhibition at the Center for Arts and Culture of the Palais des Rais (Bastion 23)
in 2006 ; to the first edition of Autumn Salon at Palace of Culture in Algiers as well as at the “Africa workshop” event in 2008; and the collective exhibition at National Museum of Modern History of Moscow (Russia) in 2010.
He carries out numerous personal exhibitions: in 2011 at the Baya gallery - Palace of Culture (Algiers). In 2014, he exhibited at the French Institute of Algiers and in the Czech Republic and inaugurated the same year a mansion after its restoration. in Rocantica near Rome (Italy). He exhibited in 2016 at the Italian cultural institute in Algiers. Solo exhibition at the Seen art Gallery entitled “Hope in Darkness” in February 2018, then in Riga, Latvia in July 2018.
His works are kept in different collections private in Algeria and abroad.
