Pieter Vermeersch

The artist Peter Vermeersch was born in 1973 in Coutrai and currently lives in Brussels. He was introduced to art by painting on walls, then in industrial wastelands, and finally in galleries and museums. He duplicates his unique style of paintings, composed of subtle and soft gradations, in hybridization with raw materials such as marble. Photographs of skies inspire his chromatic palette. He opts for processes invisible at first glance, but which bring all their singularity to his works, transcendent and aesthetic.
