Jean-Noël László was born in 1957 in Rio de Janeiro. He lives and works in Toulon.

A communication artist with a graphic designer training, Jean-Noël László specializes in marginal communication of artists and mainly in Mail Art.

Author of several articles, published in reviews like « Traits », « Arts et Métiers du Livre »,
« Communication et Langages », « Les Nouvelles de l’Estampe », and many more.

Moreover, he led the collective work "Timbres d’Artistes", published in the Musée de la Post editions in 1993 and wrote an educational book on Mail Art, edited by CRDP d’Aix-Marseille and distributed by CNDP Paris in 1995.

Since 2001, he has been creating artist books with many contemporary poets: Marie-Claire Bancquart, Daniel Biga, Jean-François Bory, Henry Chopin, Alain Jouffroy, Olivier salon.

Jean-Noël László can be considered as an authentic heir of Italian Futurism. He adopts these values and strives to go way beyond logic. Dynamism, speed and separation are the main driving force of his art.
