Cynthia Leitão works with figurative elements that start from observation, imagination and memory. Shapes that suggest vases, flowers, trees or other elements that serve as a motive to build an expressive image of the world.
Attentive to its most basic elements, the painting is formed by incorporating and leaving visible the process that gave rise to the image. Changes and coincidences are absorbed and when aligned with form, they introduce the expressive element of their work.
