Yacouba Touré lives and works in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, the land of men of integrity. Member of the National Arts and Crafts Center of Ouagadougou (CNAA), he is a stone sculptor and bronze artist. He is regularly invited to the Laongo seminar where sculptors from all over the world meet every two years.
It is part of a long line of bronze artists. His grandfather came from his village in the early 20th century to settle in Ouagadougou. He has received several awards for his bronze work. Yacouba's father continued the bronze work and taught his son the secular secrets of bronze.
