Lucie Laluque lives and works in Montreuil. She graduated in 2011 in Printed Image at the Massana School of Art and Design in Barcelona and a master in Arts, she then joined the multidisciplinary residency Off Massana for 2 years. Her work is regularly exhibited in Paris, Barcelona and Brussels and she is currently preparing a children's album with the publisher La tête ailleurs.
Drawing holds a special place in her practice and works in series, marked by freedom in the variation of media and techniques. Figurative, sensitive, naïve and instinctive, composed by games of forms and colors, of purified spaces, of organic forms, and of enigmatic characters, it finds its inspiration in the observation of the daily life, an iconographic filing and its imagination to transcribe its glance on the paradoxes and uncertainties which surround the contemporary society.
