Presentation

"Influenced very early by the universe of the image, following in the footsteps of my grandfather and my father, i am photographer.
I like to watch, wander, explore. The photography is for me a personal way and obsessive to show the universe individuals, everyday objects, industrialists who are sometimes intrusive but who have a real usefulness.
One day, I discovered these sculptures planted in the near, these facilities such as totem poles, walls, sometimes chaotic or perfectly aligned, revealing the character of the farmer who shaped, and without the knowledge created ephemeral works worthy of a contemporary artist.
One day a peasant said to me: it is good that you take interest in our work."

- Bernard Langenstein

Bernard Langenstein searches agrarian installations that he wants to capture in graphic images. We can see in his works obscure bodies between sky and earth. The light and shadow give a unique character to these “supernatural fruits”. The photographs display essentially shades of black, white and green. The general mood can be described as “ a poetic delirium of agrarian industrialization”.
