Benjamin Deroche

Benjamin Deroche is a French artist born in 1981. He lives and works between Brest and Paris. He graduated from the Université de Bretagne Occidentale in photography and visual analysis. Listed by ArtPrice as one of the 10 most promising French photographers of his generation, Benjamin Deroche develops a polished aesthetic work exploring very varied themes, between a fashion world inspired by David LaChapelle and an intimate atmosphere à la Wegman , His best-known series are “Hors Figure”, where the artist has fashion models in rural settings; “Un hint of reality”, a series for which he captured the places of energy production - industrial ports, deserted quarries, seaside resorts - off-season; or “Les Météores”, a botanical series representing plants photographed in the studio, in pastel colors, inspired by the flora of Finistère.
