Marie Marinier

Lebanese-French painter, Marie lived in Lebanon and took courses in painting during her teenage years, at Haïdar Hamawi's studio. She moved to Paris, for her studies at ESAG Penninghen and obtained her interior design degree at the Academy Charpentier (La Grande Chaumiere).

Between an interior design career and a life dedicated to painting, an area wherein she excels since her childhood, Marie chose painting and moved to Provence in 1985.

From that date, her work intensified and went reflected, through award-winning exhibitions in:

Lyon, Aix en Provence, Arles, Avignon, Les Baux de Provence, Saint Remy de Provence.

ln 1988, Marie received the first prize of the city of Salon de Provence.

Being in permanent contact with her homeland, she participated in 1991, under the patronage of Michel Henri, in an exhibition of French painters in Damascus and Beirut.

Her meeting with GRANGE furniture in 2000 will lead Marie naturally to unify her interior design competences and expertise, further to her talent as a painter, to create and launch a new concept of decorative paintings, with floral theme Through her distribution company "Les Toiles De Marie" she will introduce such concept and sell it for ten years, through numerous professional exhibitions:

- Furniture Fair, in Paris (salon du meuble).

- Maison & Objet Fair, in Paris.

- Messe Frankfurt, in Gemany _

- Garden Fair Monaco.

This concept was taken and distributed exclusively, in the United States ofAmeca, by ARIEL OF FRANCE company.

From 2007 to 2011, Marie created a line of textile design for chairs and umbrellas upon the request of SAUVAGNAT GROUP LEISUR, and the ACCOR hotel group, referring to several models of paintings.
