Dorian François is a French photographer based in Paris. Since 2005, he has crisscrossed Asia to carry out long photographic projects in this region. Her intense desire to travel is closely linked to a need to share her stories through the prism of photography and writing, a medium in which the notion of time is a central element.

His work on the Indian island of Majuli has been shown in many Parisian galleries as well as at the Phnom Penh and Delhi photo festivals. His work on Ulan Bator, UB, produced in Mongolia, has been exhibited at the Angkor Photo Festival in Siemreap, Cambodia, and has been nominated twice for the Talent Exchange. Most recently, he was a finalist for the prestigious Roger Pic Award for his China series, Solitudes.

He has produced and published for several years, on his own account, a series of ten books entitled Short-Stories.
