He was born in 1939. In search of a mode of plastic expression, it is struck, in the years 1988-89, by the wealth of certain fragments of posters lacerated on building boards. From then on, he starts on the path of collage. From a simple discovery and an enhancement of tearing at the beginning, in the manner of posters that he will discover later, he gradually moves to work on the paper itself. He uses it in all its forms, often in its thickness and its superimpositions, sometimes in its very chemical decompositions, when it comes to old elements. 

He most often strips his "stolen papers" - it was the title of one of his first exhibitions - of their figurative messages and makes them a material for mainly abstract compositions, in a permanent game between the random chromatic combinations delivered. on the walls by the posters and the poetic transformations they arouse. Sometimes words or signs are left, or even grouped, that stimulate the imagination, orient or disorient, make a wink. Its formats vary with the "material" and can go from 8X8 to 120X150 cm with polyptiques.
