Painter of Belgian origin, Alexis Vandendaelen agronomist of formation is now reconverted and joined the Parisian scene of contemporary art.
In 2015, he joined the Cours Florent in Brussels to embody his passion for theatre. A true passion, his work transcribed his sensitive view of the world.
The issue of sharing and transmitting one’s personal universe remains at the heart of one’s concerns as a contemporary artist. His artistic practice feeds on an eclectic choice of artistic references that he will draw from both literature and dance and cinema.
For him, the notion of work is first and foremost a question of personal involvement. A real power emanates from his works of rather abstract tendency. He exhibited in February 2019 at Free is Art Gallery.
