Born in Sarlat in 1977, Salomé Preignon lives and works in France.
The place of painting and drawing arrived late, in 2009, starting portraits of fools and serial killers to express an inner malaise through cold looks and distress, in order to pose torments in the guise of agonizing characters.
End of 2017 Martin Guevara sees some drawings posted on social networks and asks him to illustrate his book (content and cover). She is then reconciled with drawing, long neglected as her painting. The discovery of ink gives birth to a series of characters with expressions sometimes joyous, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, thus expressing little by little states of mind emerging from the pen. A catch in emotional hand, an attempt to get out of torments always present then gradually: the light. So was born the series of drawings "Reborn", in black ink, ocher and sepia.
Renaitre a little thanks to the trust of this friend, then to the encouraging words of the singer Maurane who discovered here and there this new artistic impetus, allowed him to take a little bit of confidence in means of expression.
