Tristan Denis Rasiki

One half of this young artistic duo is Tristan Denis, a photographer from Northern France. The other is Rasiki a Sino-Japanese artist. Since 2018, they have been a talented photographic duo. 

It was during her childhood in Southern China that Rasiki discovered photography. Citing Nobuyoshi Araki and Moriyama Daido as sources of inspiration, she taught herself the craft. 

Meanwhile, after travelling through China, Tristan Denis finally found himself in Japan. From concerts to exhibitions, he never misses one of Tokyo's artistic events. Denis is also the official photographer of Real Japanese Hip Hop, a French magazine focusing on Japan's hip hop scene. 

Despite their differing backgrounds, the pair share similar influences, such as Asian urban culture. Their artistic harmony travels beyond borders. 

In 2019, the duo presented their first exhibition TOKYO TWINS in St Raphael. The title signifies their artistic revival as photographers. Intimate and urban, they capture both portraits and everyday scenes of Tokyo.
