Jerkyman is an artist born in 1993 in Essonne in Évry.
“Raised by pop culture, I try to evolve my style of 'jerky art' to a level visible to all. 'Jerky art' is an art that emerged from the urban movement mixing graffiti, acrylic paint and Indian ink. I'm not really trying to make something beautiful but an idea crosses my mind and I have to transcribe it on canvas. My work aims to get people to ask themselves questions not just "waah it's beautiful "and then we go our way.
I didn't study art at school because I refused to submit to academic advice, didn't want to be told how to paint my own ideas. Influenced by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Voka, David walker, Virginio Vona. So here I invite you to look at my work. Anyway, my name is Jerkyman. "
