Mathieu Rousso is a French sculptor born in 1970.
Before embarking in the world of art, Mathie Rousso turned to music at first, he worked as a drummer for several groups.
Still part of the artistic environment, Mathieu quickly discovered his desire to do something else, so he tried sculpting in several materials, but he was never satisfied with the results.
It was finally in 2009, that he tried wire with which the alliance was perfect. A self-taught artist, Mathieu Rousso gets his inspiration and his models from the animal world.
Wire became his favorite material, once he tried he did not stop using it, it allows him to create pieces with fragile appearance and massiveness impressions. A paradox that Mathieu Rousso particularly appreciates.
