Presentation

Tamara (1983) is a young Russian-French artist.

Her work is strongly influenced by Kasimir Malevitch, Victor Vasarely, Carlos Cruz-Diez and Corbusier. Tamara transmitted her passion for pure geometrical forms and contrasting colors onto her boards.

She found her inspiration in cutting geometrical forms from all of the different materials, creating visual objects that she would then incorporate in her collages.

She glues her objects on her boards and paint them over layers after layers. Rich in texture and color, her works have always been striking attractive and full of harmony at the same time.

During her early yeast most of her works were offered to her family fiends, and she never considered becoming an artist.

Being strongly involved into the art world, she had a lot of friends among Parisian cubist and abstract artists, who, finally, convinced her to exhibit her works.

For the first time she showed her works publicly in May 2014.

Since 2014 she adopted a single name and began signing her works with her first name – “Tamara”.

She made her debut in United States in 2016, presenting her work at X-Contemporary art fair during Miami Art Basel Week. Since then, several of her works reside in private collections in LA and Aspen, Colorado.
