Ghislaine Ferreira

She is born in Lot et Garonne, she's attached to Bordeaux and now lives in Angers, her artistic experience of 30 years is nourished by her several trainings, exchanges and encounters.

Her portraits reflect the interior mirror of the human being. Through a humanistic look, she dissects the other, through a lot of depth. She has baptized the procedure "the triangular human". Jean-Claude Ferreira explains "we all exist through 3 dimensions: the intimate being, the image of a being and the perceived being...Ghislaine plays around with this triangulation in a subtle manner on a canvas". Beyond appearances, her portraits sign a pact of sincerity and sensitivity. The artist highlights the complex and fragile aspect, without toning down the spirit of the future in constant evolution. Her oblique look on the individual mixes flaws and weaknesses with finesse. Ghislaine Ferreira's art is composed of lively and spontaneous strokes with watercolors. A subtle composition, her unequal strokes mime the tactlessness of characters. Sometimes the hinted chance turns into visual grace. The artist has done several exhibitions in Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes, Orleans, Metz, Dusseldorf. She participates in major current events such as Art Fair Lille, the contemporary art market in Lille.
