In adolescence it was the meeting of oil painting and the pleasure of creation and since then, I consider it the key to survival, a weapon against all alienations and I keep coming back to it. It is not easy to talk about oneself, because on the contrary the work often tells its author. To say something about it, we look at it from the outside while it is all "Inside". 

In this creative space where I feel the most free, it is the spontaneity of a desire, a vision, a feeling that takes precedence over a rigorous initial idea or the quest for an absolute meaning. Doubt has its place. Once started, the painting leads the game with a certain welcoming fluidity. 

I am sometimes surprised by what I do. The oil requires that we respect our rhythm to leave room for the alchemy of the material which lends itself to repentance and changes. Landscapes, abstractions, characters: my paintings are moments, an endlessly renewed miracle that reflects my way of being in the world and of sharing a certain glance at the present. For me, the path is never finished, life is in color and we exist.
