Michèle FALIU

Michèle Faliu was born in 1942 in the Paris region. Self-taught artist, she has always been fascinated by the sea. Her family has its roots in Brittany. After having lived in the Paris region, in the south, on the island of Batz, she finally puts down her suitcases on the island of Ré. This last Charente stopover takes her into an artistic whirlwind, which will quickly introduce her to the general public. She receives a first prize for painting in a competition organized each year by the General Council of Charente-Maritime, which is selected by recognized artists.
Her real talent for transcribing matter and bringing color to life, her zooms on boat hulls more real than life, her fish with bright scales, make her a very present artist, whose technique is close to trompe l'oeil. amazed.
