Damien Demaiter

Nothing predestined Damien Demaiter for painting. A mode of expression that saved him from a school universe to which he was closed. He is a plastic art teacher who, aware of his abilities, will guide him towards this mode of expression and communication. He will encourage him to use a variety of techniques and procedures, encouraging him to carry out advanced and delicate achievements which will require precision, observation and pugnacity. He will exhibit for the first time at 13 years old. 

Three years, from 1990 at the Auguste Renoir school, he was subsequently received at the Gobelins, but it was towards the Superior School of Applied and Textile Arts in Roubaix that he left, to reach his native region. Gifted and eager to achieve, he will launch, as a graphic designer, in the working life starting with a Parisian company, to return in the north in a large group of advertising communication. 

These will be the meetings which will then develop his artistic network, and which will stimulate his creative vitality. He will then never stop exploring and enriching his pictorial expression.
