Mosaic artist, child of the 80s, former advertiser and lover of image and object, Pier Esparre is an heir to artists from pop-art who are part of the tradition of the French ready-made.
It is by confronting the symbols of popular culture of the 20th and 21st centuries with the ancestral art of mosaic that Esparre expresses the notion of testimony in the sense of heritage, a central concept shared by all of his works, as a contemporary archeology.
