Marcello Quarta was born in Lecce on 8-01-1982. Although his studies have little to do with his artistic spirit, since 2001, he has started his passion. Quarta is self-taught and always looking for new materials and innovative experiments that welcome both objects and subjects.
In his works, the object is typically undefined, yet color is skillfully integrated to provide shape suggestions. Furthermore, themes of social chaos, time, and reality are present. The audience can be the subject of his works, but Quarta himself may also be the subject: "the artist by chance", who passionately paints to find his freedom of expression! Quarta's works have many intriguing colors, materials, and imagination that is being communicated through his art!
