Presentation

Kazuhiko Tanaka is a Japanese artist born in 1953.

Kazuhiko Tanaka has graduated from the Beaux-Arts and music university of Tokyo, where he chose specialized courses in design and architecture. For more then forty years, Kazuhiko Tanaka worked as an architect in Tokyo.

The human figurines of Kazuhiko Tanaka try to capture the essence of everyday life as well as surrealistic scenes of our dreams; at least in these two cases they always fascinate the spectator.

Since the beginning of his artistic career, his creativity is an added value in his job as an architect, which is constantly evolving in form as well as in substance.

But the heart of his creation hasn't changed, and remains his will to express the marvellous moments of life and share them to us.

Kazuhiko Tanaka characters are without expression and wear neural clothes in order to allow any visitor to assimilate himself or herself to it.
