Presentation
IcegreyTokyo is a French artist living in Japan for 14 years. Passionate about Wabi Sabi, she fell in love with Japanese ceramics and its minimalism as soon as she arrived in Tokyo. She finds raw textures and hues there, plays with reliefs and colors inspired by her favorite city. Deeply touched by Fukushima, she gives an illusion of marble, metal and wood to her creations by adding iron oxide, silver and even gold.
Each of his pieces is unique.
From her origins in the South of France, she also draws her inspiration by delivering to us works of cruelly natural beauty. Cradled by limestone mountains and "stone" quarries, IcegreyTokyo is fascinated by stone. His passion pierces through his sculpturally architectural works, works which will be his last in ceramics, and which we have the immense good fortune to welcome to the Gallery.
