Myriam Cancho studied Painting at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Painting in 2020. She has participated in various group exhibitions in different spaces such as the Forum Gallery, the Sheraton Hotel, IPCNA (Pucallpa), among others.
Her interests focus on painting, video art, installation and cinematography in relation to the body and an expressionism with a particular accent on the visceral and a personal earthly morbidity. She is currently doing a master's degree in Art History and Curatorship at the same university.
