Aram Koupetzian

Born September 13, 1928 in Priskoumsk, Aram Koupetzian, one of the greatest Armenian painters, passed away in 2017. The artist became known by becoming the champion of “synthetic cubism”, a movement initiated in 1907 by Bracque and Picasso, adding to his works new colors and a depth never seen before… Member of the Moscow Academy of Painting, his works can be found not only at the Royal Academy of England or at the Mediolanum Museum in Milan in Italy, but still in the largest private collections in the world, especially in the United States where its success has been resounding.
