She has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca since 1999. She has been awarded with several prizes throughout her artistic career, including the First Prize for Painting Sta. Isabel de Portugal XXIII, from the Diputación Provincial de Zaragoza.
In addition, her career highlights the scholarship received by the Casa de Velázquez de Madrid (2008-2010). She has done most of her solo exhibitions in Spain, although her work has also traveled to other European countries such as France and Holland. Her work is present in numerous public and private collections such as those of the Diputación de Huesca, the Santa María de Albarracín Foundation, the Heraldo de Aragón or the Diputación Provincial de Zaragoza. This is her ninth solo exhibition.
An exercise as basic as ordering shapes and colors in space, the essence of the plastic arts, constitutes the foundation of values in which Cristina Silván supports her work. However, there are many means to this end: from painting and sculpture, to collage, photography or video.
