An inspiration of Anna-Kajsa, artist from Sweden comes from the surrounding nature and very special atmosphere of the Baltic North and in particular of Öland, island on Baltic sea.
Anna-Kajsa successfully develops expressionistic traditions founded on oeuvre of Chaim Soutine. Her art, especially landscapes cares a lot of light in various shapes and reflecting constant changes that artist observing in nature. Her paintings are not snapshots of the moments they are the ongoing dialogue with nature, different objects, and people.
Anna-Kajsa's paintings are about our existence about our place in this world. She says: "I focus on a feeling or mood and translate it with colour. Whether the final work is abstract or figurative lies in the eyes of the beholder".
