Marc-Antoine Fehr (born in 1953 in Zurich, lives in Burgundy) is an atypical painter in the Swiss artistic landscape. His work was the subject of personal exhibitions at the Helmhaus in Zurich in 2011 and at the Stables of Saint-Hugues in Cluny in 2014. For the CCS, he is preparing a new set of paintings, centered on six large-format canvases. His landscapes, still lifes or genre scenes create atmospheres of serious intensity, of a strangeness that can evoke the worlds of Beckett or Kafka. A vast series of small-format oils, drawings, fragments of his Paysage sans fin, sketchbooks and study objects complete the display.
