Iran Born in: 1946

Salim Karami was born in Rasht, northwestern Iran. It was not until the age of sixty that painting became an obsession. He did his first pen work in 1996, on the back of an advertising poster. His works were created instinctively and illiterate, based on his training. For the first time, Salim exhibited his works in the "Ou" gallery in Rasht in 2008. In 2011, his second exhibition was held at the "Marlik" gallery in Rasht, and in 2013, the third solo exhibition titled "The Eden collection "took place at the Homa gallery in Tehran.
