About the artwork
Artwork sold in perfect condition
I am a young Bordeaux artist, born in 1993 in Nantes. Since my childhood, I have been in contact with art and practice on different mediums such as charcoal, markers, anchors, acrylic, oil, collage, wood, iron and nature. I was able to discover, deepen, and create my own techniques in contact with different plastic artists but also by sharing during my travels with local populations.
Passionate about geology, fauna and flora, I first started studying biology. But during a first humanitarian trip to Senegal in Manecounda (Casamance) in 2013 within the framework of the “Manecounda” association. I became attached to the small village and its inhabitants. When I returned to France, I had I wanted to discover more and I decided to explore West Africa for 6 months. Impacted by landscapes, inhabitants, cultures, customs and religions. I wondered about man, nature and spirituality I had to transcribe all this in my travel diary through texts (emotions, words, thoughts ...), drawings (sketches, sketches ...) but also by collecting dead plants and animals. My vocation as an artist was born and I undertook art studies at EBABX from 2014 to 2018.
I focus my art on “self-quest”, “man” and “spirituality”.
