    Horned Figures is an original modern artwork realized the 1920s by the Italian satirical artist Mino Maccari (Siena, 1898 - Rome, 1989). Mixed Media. Original black china ink on paper and watercolor on cardboard. Hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right corner: Maccari. The work is drawed on the back too.
    The Work depicts a sketch with three horned figures that are bringing a flag that depicts a glass of wine. The figures are small and seem that they are dancing.

Mino Maccari

Italy Born in: 1898

Mino Maccari (Siena, 1898 – Rome, 1989) was a popular Italian painter and engraver. He produced many artworks through different graphic techniques. He exhibited at important international exhibitions in the fields of art and graphics. In 1959, he became the director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome; in 1963, he won Antonio Feltrinelli's prize for painting and became president of the San Luca Academy. He realized many lithographs and etchings of satirical and political subject matters. He was also famous for erotic and sexual drawings. He has worked for many years at Il Mondo.
