I have it clear that art has no religion, age nor gender.
Painting has been the means through I which I transmit my view of the world. Day after day I discover and recreate, technique and theme constitute a dynamic whole and a constant that is brought into my laboratory. In my work I have touched a great diversity of themes because I do not limit myself to a recipe as I understand that our universe is in constant change, at the same time, our bonds with society, nature, the environment, are universal worries of which I talk about, themes that humanity as a whole ought to reflect about.
My main tool while painting is the spatula, I make with it subtle and spontaneous stains leading to transparencies characteristic of sgraffito, particular techniques which I exploit to express my concerns and passions. However, it is inevitable for me to experiment without worrying about what will people say about my work, my intention is and will always be to connect with the viewer. I am attracted by the idea of uncovering what is hidden that can free, captivate, seduce; that is my language and that is why to achieve this means everything to me.
I recognize that we live in a complex world where it is necessary to stop for a second to find silence and peace, is at this estate where I flow in my effort to understand the universe. I observe during the journey the context in which I inhabit and imagine.
Art uncovers secrets to me, and it is my duty to perceive.
BIOGRAPHY
Her father´s career as a musician and plastic arts professor and the intense character of her mother have been without a doubt her major influences. She studied nursing which she practiced and later abandoned to pursue her first steps in the plastic arts at the Municipal Arts School of the city of El Alto, where she received training with established figures of the Bolivian plastic arts scene. Among others she studied under the celebrated Bolivian Master Ricardo Pérez Alcala, who at that time served as professor and director of the above-mentioned arts school. In parallel she started her training at the Teacher Training College and the Arts Department of the Public and Autonomous University of El Alto. Adda Donato has 12 years of trajectory with multiple national and international exhibitions. She currently serves as president of the El Alto chapter of the Bolivian Association of Plastic Artists.

Can I negotiate the price of an artwork?
For some artworks, you can negotiate the price. If the price of the work is negotiable, you have a “Make an offer” button under the “Buy this work” one.
To submit your offer, you must make a payment of the desired amount. Your offer will then be forwarded to the gallery, which reserves the right to accept or reject it. If your offer is accepted, it means that your order is confirmed by the gallery and they will prepare the artwork for shipment. If your offer is rejected, you will be refunded the total amount paid automatically. The gallery can also propose a counter-offer for the acquisition of the artwork.

Where can I have my order delivered?
Artsper delivers worldwide!
However, please note that once your order reaches its destination, it may be subject to VAT or other customs fees. These charges are beyond our control and you will be responsible for paying them (this is indicated at the ‘checkout’ first step).
Select the delivery address of your choice. Please make sure that someone is present to receive your order.
If your billing address is different to your delivery address you can specify this at the checkout.
Return and cancellation
You can return the artwork without needing to provide a reason or pay a penalty fee up to 14 days after receiving your order.
In the case that the right of withdrawal is exercised in the aforementioned time frame, the price of the artwork(s) purchased and the shipping costs will be reimbursed by us as soon as the gallery has received the artwork and notified us.
Artsper will manage the return of the work and will bear the cost of returns (which will either be paid by you and refunded by Artsper or directly paid by Artsper).
The artwork must be returned in perfect condition and in its original packaging (or equivalent).
