    This piece was created by applying and scraping and the reapplying many layers of acrylic paint and polymer medium. Huppman uses only professional grade materials. This piece is signed on the back, wired and ready to hang. Framing is not necessary and completely up to the collector.

Susan Wolfe Huppman
The United States Born in: 1961

New Orleans native Susan Wolfe Huppman studied Art History at Princeton where she also studied Critical Theory under David Shapiro, himself a student of Meyer Shapiro. She studied painting under Michael David, Harvey Quaytman, Heidi Gluck and Sean Scully, her advisor. She continued her art education at the Maryland Institute College of Art. She currently resides in the state of Maryland, US, on a small farm.
