ALBER discovers graffiti at the age of 15 and considers himself first as a graffiti artist, the notion of art only appeared later. There was above all the pleasure of painting, the intoxication of freedom, the friends with whom he created, as a teenager, the KTM group and VIRTUAL TIME'S.

The passion remains intact and ALBER gradually breaks away from the codes of graffiti in search of a more personal expression. From graffiti he retains the fluidity of the gesture which traces lines and runs on the surface, but the lines and the shapes come together in a figurative representation. The application of color spray, tradition obliges, gives relief and light to these assemblages revealing a face of disproportionate proportions, from the front, in profile or three-quarter, the gaze blue and fixed under the heavy eyelids. Sideways glance like a lookout or a watchman.

This character becomes the signature of ALBER who, from graffiti artist becomes street artist preserving his freedom to paint where he wants, when he wants. The passage to the canvas is done little by little, resizing the subject without removing anything of its power.
