About the artwork
Artwork sold in perfect condition
Safia Wosth was born in the South West of France and had a strict education, oriented towards culture, literature, music and painting.
His youth was the discovery of authors and artists.
After a HEC preparatory school in Toulouse, she entered a business school in Paris. The discovery of Paris led her to go to exhibitions. She was very influenced by the Impressionists and later became acquainted with the works of Braque, Kandinsky.
For Safia Wosth, the discovery of Abstract Art is a break with her strict upbringing and traditional art. An air of freedom emerges from this art. Colours and shapes make this art a personal interpretation of these works. For Safia Wosth it is a reading, a discovery of the works themselves. For her, an abstract work is interesting, because each time, we discover it differently. We perceive shapes, colors, impressions with each visit.
In the 2000s, she met artists in their gallery. After being their client, they became friends. Safia Wosth spends time in the intimacy of the artists watching them paint. She's getting soaked in it. It goes from discovery to discovery.
Safia Wosth, under the influence of these artists, in turn embarked on abstract painting. She transmits through her painting, her deepest feelings, these undone, redone paintings have evolved over time.
Safia Wosth is influenced by blue, white and black. Through these influences, she transmits the freedom of interpretation of her paintings.
The Spectator is the only one to appreciate, appropriate and bring the paintings to life.
