  • About the artwork

    Artwork sold in perfect condition

Part of a photographic series that features symbolic objects that belong to me with the intention of asking them questions about what matters to me today; human time and its perceptions, measures and beliefs. Based on the theories and thoughts of Byung-Chul Han, a South Korean philosopher, I agree and maintain that time today has no rhythm of order ... it can no longer chain events to make sense of them. Once time is atomized, life and identity are also atomized. In this way, human things are reduced to atoms which get lost in an empty hyperspace. Life as a "zapping" ... thus, time begins to reproduce the logic of the web, since the time of the network is a time "now", discontinuous and punctual, it has no duration ... everything is already .. These images, which can be seen initially discontinuous and punctual, have the chain of personal history, which from being intimate and private becomes universal and symbolic, with the intention of saving delay, duration, the contemplation. All of this, actions designed to face the crisis of an (inevitable) future that lies in the way we live in the present.
